Earthquake Preparedness

            In the recent months, we’ve experienced earthquake frequently. A number of earthquakes shook parts of the country while there were no reported major damages or loss of life. These incidents could indicate that the big one is probably coming, as the major Philippine fault lines have been distributed. 

            For us, we need to be ready and be prepared because no one knows when will earthquake happen. All of us must have earthquake drill because it helps us know what to do during an earthquake. Everyone must be trained and have plan so that they’ll know what to do before, during and after an earthquake. We should also know the correct procedures to be followed during the occurrence in order to help ensure that there will be no confusion or panic among everyone.

            As we live in an area where earthquakes are a frequent occurrence, we have to include earthquake preparedness in our overall emergency plan. Earthquakes are never being predicted, being prepared is what we must do.
