Nutrition is very important to everyone. Having a good health helps us live and grow faster. It also makes you more active and energized.
Every year, we are celebrating Nutrition Month. During the celebration, there are some activities like poster slogan, food festival, nutrition quiz, and Nutri-jingle. The National Nutrition Council also have a lot of activities that everyone can join. There are purposes why they have these activities. We are celebrating Nutrition month in order for us to be reminded that we need to have a good health and have a proper and healthy lifestyle that will not prone to diseases which you can live longer. As what they’ve said, “Health is Wealth”.
In line with the theme “Kumain ng wasto at maging aktibo…Push natin ‘to”, it means that we need to eat properly like go, glow and grow foods. Avoid eating junk foods and it’s better to eat homemade foods than eating to restaurants. We also need to have proper exercise. Physical activities are also needed because it makes you sweat. It maintains, lose and gain weight. When you eat that much and if you’re overweight, you need to do physical activities more so that you can lose weight. If you’re underweight, you need to eat more than doing physical activities. And you need to balance what you eat and what you do so that you’ll maintain your normal weight.
Good nutrition is an adequate, well balance diet combined with regular physical activity. It is a cornerstone of
good health.
