Buwan ng Wika or also known as National Language Month is normal for us Filipinos. In this year's celebration, we are celebrating it with the them "Wikang Katutubo: Tungo sa Isang Bansang Filipino.
Among 130 languages in the Philippines, "Wikang Filipino" was chosen to be our national language. We, Filipino citizens must have pride, honor and privilege to use our own language. We must be very proud because we have a very unique Filipino language. It helps us understand one another. We are using it to communicate to our fellow Filipino citizens.
The Buwan ng Wika is celebrated because it has engaging purposes which can build up new things and changes. It also helps is remind that we must be proud of who we are and what our language and nationality is.
