In every September, National Science Month is celebrated. In
this year’s celebration, we are celebrating it with the theme "Metabolize:
Nourishing the Filipino Youth Towards National Well-being".
Every year, there are a
lot of activities that are in line with science. The Science and YES-O Club
officers of Ilocos Sur National High School are the ones who prepared those
activities for the students of ISNHS. There are two activities that some
students and teachers are waiting for and those are the Trashion Show and Ginoo
at Binibining Kalikasan. Those activities are not just about pageant and all.
These programs are making student-candidates to promote proper waste management
and recycling because the costumes that they will wear for the contest proper
is made of recyclable and indigenous materials
Over the
years, people’s lives have been greatly affected by the number of inventions
and innovations that make things more convenient. Some of these are even
considered as needs, as they are being used on a daily basis. Every year's
science month celebration really has a great effect to us.
