Vigan Fiesta!!

          Every January 25, Vigan Fiesta is celebrated. It is exactly celebrated during the feast day of the conversion of St. Paul the Apostle. St. Paul is Vigan City's patron saint.

          The Vigan City Fiesta usually lasts for several days. It includes within the period the celebration of the anniversary of cityhood of Vigan, which is commemorated every January 27. There are a lot of activities prepared. The main highlightof it is the Longganisa Festival  in which it has a street dancing and showdown competition. The city has a longganisa-themed parade and at one time attempted to set a record for having the longest longganisa ever made. there are other activities also like the fun run and grand parade. Education day is also celebrated in the city every January 23. There are also food trade, parades and carnival in the said city.

          They are joined by the thousands of visitors from the parts of the Philippines and other countries as well in enjoying the cultural show, parade and street dancing prepared by the local government with the help of local industries and communities.
